| The young fire department with a trio of horses pulling a water wagon. The very large tower was built after much of the downtown was destroyed by fire because the volunteers could not hear the smaller bell. The fire department logo is in the top border along with the early logo of Weinhard Beer Company, which started in Vancouver. If you look down in front of the fire tower, there are a couple of men quaffing mugs of beer. |
